Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: PT Specialty: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8.5 Experience: Minimum of 2+ years License: Licensed as PT in Client Certifications: Required certifications Must-Have: Outpatient and Acute Care Experience Description: General Comments: Unit Information: Number of Beds: 60 bed acute care and 2 outpatient clinics Number of Staff: 19 Type of Staff: - Day Shift: 3 PTs, 3 PTAs, 2 OTs, 1 COTA, 1 SLP - Night Shift Patient Ratios: 9-11 patients per day per FTE Type of Equipment: PT modalities, pool, cardiovascular, Biodex balance, fitness center EMR: Acute care: CERNER, Outpatient: Nethealth Xfits Typical Hiring Profile Skill Set: Most recruited for: Must have outpatient and acute care experience. Preferred or nice to have: Orthopedic/Sports Med/Spine/manual therapy Vestibular/vertigo/stroke Typical Procedures Performed: Ther ex, manual therapy, vestibular rehab, balance training, gait training Best Personality Fit: Team oriented, outgoing Floating Area(s): N/A Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Acute care: Purple scrubs (eggplant) Outpatient: Business attire or polo-khakis Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please refer to unit policies and guidelines. Weekends and On-call: Rotation every 5th weekend. Only priority patients seen on Saturday, average 2-3 hours. No visits on Sunday.
